Travel to Montréal
In addition to driving, there are many other ways to travel to Montréal.
By air
Located 20 minutes from downtown, YUL Montréal-Trudeau International Airport serves a multitude of national and international destinations. YUL offers all the services required by travelers and is accessible by public transportation.
By bus
Located in the heart of downtown, the Montréal Bus Station is served by multiples carriers offering provincial, national and international destinations.
By train
Strategically located downtown, Central Station is operated by Canadian carrier VIA Rail and American carrier Amtrak and offers several daily departures to major Canadian and American cities.
Getting around in Montréal

Once you arrive in Montréal, the best way to get around during the weekend of the event is without a doubt the public transportation (STM – Société de transport de Montréal) with the metro, bus and train
The Olympic Stadium, where the Expo-Marathon, the start of the Saturday events and the finish of all the events take place, is located at the PIE-IX station of the green line of the Metro while the Espace 67 where the start of the Marathon and Half-Marathon takes place is located at the Jean-Drapeau station of the yellow line.
Buy your return fares in advance to avoid waiting in line and to get around safely.
You can also take advantage of the 750 km of BIXI public bike path.
