Volunteer Program

The Marathon Beneva de Montréal is coming back stronger this year. As we prepare to welcome thousands of participants on race weekend, we are calling on you to help us make this event a success. We are looking for dynamic people to help us prepare and run the event from Thursday, September 21 to Sunday, September 24, 2023.

A volunteer is a person who is there for others, who gives of his time, his energy, his dedication for a smile, a thank you. It is a person without whom many events would simply not be possible.

Whether it is at the gear check, at bib pick-up, at the aid stations, at the roadside to secure intersections or at the finish line, the Volunteer is present on all fronts during the event.

2. Who can become a volunteer?

People from the community, students, athletes, friends, retirees, non-athletes, families, etc. All profiles are welcome because everyone can bring their help, their smile, their benevolence, and build strong moments around sports.

The qualities sought:

Be respectful, patient, and show kindness to the runners and other volunteers.
Being in a good mood. As a volunteer, you are directly involved in the atmosphere of the Montreal Marathon.
Be 14 years of age or older

Bib distribution
Information Ambassador
Volunteer welcome
Medal Presentation
Bag collection/distribution
Equipment check
Aid stations
Cyclist

Volunteer team leader

We are also looking for people with team management skills to coordinate volunteer activities and teams.
