Your registration to the Marathon Beneva de Montréal includes the runner’s kit which contains, among others :

Group rates are only applicable to individual events (1 km, 5 km, 10 km, Half Marathon and Marathon).
In order to obtain the promotional code, you must contact us before registering. It will not be possible to apply a discount retroactively.
Race Roster account and registration confirmation
When you register for one of the Marathon Beneva de Montréal events, a Race Roster account is created in your name. By logging in to this account, you will be able to modify some of the information you entered at registration.

Until September 1, 2021*, it is possible to make an event change for a $12 administrative fee and the difference between the price you paid at the time of registration and the price of your new event at the time of the change. Go to your Race Roster account to make the change.
No refunds will be given if a participant switches to a shorter distance event. In this case, the participant will only have to pay the administrative fee.
*The option to change races may be withdrawn prior to September 1st in the event that an event is sold out.
Transfer to another person
Until September 1, 2021*, it is possible to transfer your registration to another person for a $12 administrative fee. Please access your Race Roster account to make the change. It is strictly forbidden to run wearing a bib that is not your own under penalty of disqualification. You must make the transfer via the Race Roster platform.
*The transfer option may be withdrawn before September 1st in the event that an event is sold out.
Cancellation by the participant
As a general rule, no refunds will be given if a participant is no longer able to participate in the event. However, the organization does offer the option of purchasing FanShield insurance which provides protection in this situation. FanShield insurance is not refundable in the event of a complete cancellation of the event. It is also possible to transfer your bib number to another person if you are no longer able to participate in the event.
Cancellation of the event
In the event of a full cancellation of the Event due to COVID-19, the Organization will offer Participants two options:
1 – A refund of the registration fee, excluding the transaction fee. The transaction fee is charged by the Race Roster registration platform directly and is not refundable. The amount of this fee is shown on your invoice and varies according to the total amount of your invoice. We have finally decided to include the processing fee in the refund, which we had originally excluded from our policy.
2 – A deferral of the registration to the 2022 edition of the Event at no cost.
In the event that the Organization has to modify certain aspects of the Event (e.g. wave departure) due to the requirements of any regulatory body (Regional Public Health Department, City of Montréal, etc.), the Organization will not accept any request for a full or partial refund. Only the full cancellation of the Event due to COVID-19 will result in refunds.
In the event of a complete or partial cancellation of the Event for any other reason (e.g. hazardous weather conditions), no refunds will be issued.
